On tonight's Family Guy (a rerun), Lois explains Meg's grumpy mood by saying that it's her time of the month. The scene cuts to a sheep which says "Oh no, not again!" without explaination. So...i'm wondering, do you think this has anything to do with my favourite very bad joke?

What do elephants use as tampons?

Sheep.

Why do elephants have trunks?

Because sheep don't have strings.

What's the moral of this joke?

Don't wear red sweaters.

The interweb, at first Googling, doesn't seem to have any other ideas.

hahaha. is it my fault that that's your favorite very bad joke?

(for some reason it is the only joke i have ever been able to remember, as well as retell correctly, and thus i tell it lots. also, it grosses out the boys.)

(actually, it probably isn't my fault, as i've always remembered / retold the middle bit as "why are elephants so fat?" and the moral as "never wear red wool". hmm.)
