My Awesome Advisor found me another re-heading which she told everyone in class about today apropos of nothing (i'm way overusing the word "apropos" these days, blame it on Nabakov)...and in Mallory to boot! How the fsck did i not remember Sir Gareth and his sexcapades?!?

And one of my fellow Grad Students found me a talking beheaded-head in an Anglo-Saxon saint's life.

I also pondered today that saints' relics are disembodied parts which take on a life of their own...which fits into my new conception of my dissertation project as some manner of thing where the magical meets the miraculous and parts that have been cut off/removed/disassociated with their bodies do something...else.

Inquiring medievalist-minds want to know...which life, what saint? I adore saints' lives. They're just so wacky.

Disembodied parts

Parts is parts...that is unless they're deep fried and on a stick then they're delicious.

Well, odd is better than even any day.
Ask any prime number...they'll be the first to tell you they are one of a kind.

This sounds so postmodern to me. How funny. Hey, do you have time to get together and drink and watch movies or something this evening, or do you have to study? I suppose I should unearth my living room anyway, but that would give me more reason, y'know.

Thursday is possible... I have a meeting that evening about the possibility of an indy film project that's supposed to start at 6. Not sure how long it's supposed to go. I'll call, I suppose. Friday at GZ is still a good idea.

Have a wonderful time at your meeting thingy. I hope it includes more pieces of dead saints.

hey, lollardfish told me to come find you. Friend me back if you want- but I warn you academic and general angst has been running high lately! lol even if you're not up for that- we should grab lollardfish & all meet up again at the Zoo this year (assuming we're all going).
