Previous Entry Share Next Entry

Amusingly enough, this meme has been posted at least once as LibraryThing's list of books least read. I think that's clearly bunk considering the number of both classics and pop culture staples on it. I'd honestly rather see a list of what you've read off of the Modern Library's 100 best books list. Still, here's my offering. If you choose to play, bold those you've read, strike those you hated, italicise those you started and didn't finish.

I think you'd like Wicked. Time Traveler's Wife has been recommended to me a few times, but i've not picked it up yet. It's on the list of "books to get with my copious amounts of spare money."

I hate very few things that i finish. I suspect if i'd gotten through Atlas Shrugged, i'd have hated it, as that's why i didn't bother finishing it.

I seem to have actually read about 20 of those - but there is a lot of Gaiman and Stephenson, and we did all the distopian fiction (Brave New World etc) at school.
I've read a disappointing amount of classics however :(

Shame shame. I could make you a list of things you ought to read. Particularly, things you ought to read so that contemporary sci-fi allusions make more sense ;)

And for Pete's sake! You're a librarator!

Silly memes of inaccurate origin. I was hoping I could get you to tell me about Gravity's Rainbow, but I guess I'll have to read it myself.
