more on this when i get the setlist from T., but the Peter Murphy show was amazing. i went in 1/2 expecting it to be terrible or at least underwhelming, but i was pleasantly and happily wrong. Mr. Murphy, despite looking a bit haggard, was in good form and his voice sounded just as lovely as ever. he did a really good mix of stuff from Cascade, old hits, and the better stuff from the new album, and all of this was arranged in the most wonderful of ways specifically for the bass/drum kit/guitar set he was doing. and his first encore was acoustic! will do a full review once i have the setlist, but the two highlights, for me, were a bass and drum heavy version of Subway that was nearly unrecognisable but *so* good, and Marlene Dietrich's Favorite Poem done acoustically, through which i cried quite a lot.

now, to bed, as 2 hours of sleep in 48 is really not enough.

Current Mood: blissful and chilly
Current Music: middle eastern stuff coming from my neighbor's flat

You go miss late night poster.

Yep, was very good gig. Honestly, haven't heard any other stuff apart from Cuts You Up & another track off a Kaleidoscope cover disc but it was all excellent stuff.

Photos are already online, link in iegoth. Some are crap, have to spruce up my gig photography.
