or alternatively, they'll look at you like you're a nutter and complain a lot.

it didn't go *badly,* but my dodgy covers/80s set did mostly clear the floor. in all fairness, there were an amazing amount of strangers there and precious few of the regulars who would have appreciated or at least been amused by my caprice. in good news, lots of people danced to Wideband Network and Welle:Erdball when they clearly had never heard them before, and i was asked about both RAM and Autopoesis ;) (incidentally hizhnik, remind me to just burn the RAM album for you, everytime i play something from them, you like it, so you should actually have your own copy.)

Focalplane - Vermillion Sky (65 HP Mix)
Qntal - Flamma
Autopoesis - Pulse Code
Apop - Mourn (real version)
De/Vision - Dinner Without Grace (radio edit)
The Nine - I Won't (Non Compliant Club Mix by Iris)
Eloquent - Future Pop
Silence - Skin

Hungry Lucy - Blue Dress (DM cover)
Duran Duran - Fame (Bowie cover)
Sophia Run - Josie and the Pussycats Theme
InSoc - Express Yourself (Madonna cover)
Godhead - Eleanor Rigby (Beatles cover)
Murray Head - One Night in Bangkok
Falco - Der Kommissar (German Version)
Thomas Dolby - She Blinded Me With Science
Wideband Network - The Silence
Deine Lakaien - Into My Arms (Derek von Krogh Mix)
Welle:Erdball - 23 (C-64 Version)
Random Access Memory - Measuring the Wastelands
Assemblage 23 - Regret
Ohgr - Water
Mark Nichols - Green (demo)
Sara Noxx - Colder and Colder

I thought about doing a covers set if I could bother my arse to DJ.

Sorry I couldn't make it. Stayed in & had a curry with Tasha & 2 50 year old women. Yippee!

B's set was good, and endon_neu's was very crunchy, in the way that made me want to dance to the last 1/2 an hour of music so i was literally wringing the sweat out of my hair at the end of the night.

so, all-in-all a good night.
