yesterday, laundry doing and hanging out with projectivehex and a little with djsparkydog as well. cooking of crabcakes, redying of hair (blue mayhem), running to the mall for gloves to wear with my pvc dress (gloves which i promptly *forgot* to wear to Pulse so i'll have to just wear them around town for no good reason), impromptu hacking of a pair of cheap-ass boots, and then dancing, drinking, chatting, flirting, an apology, happiness, hot man-on-man action, dancing to "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred in Blu (don't ask), and general niceness.
and, i won the new Qntal CD by being the one person in the club who knew how to say something in Irish (i said "An bhfuil tú réidh?") frankly, i have a sneaking suspicion that the contest was a tiny bit rigged, but it's good that B wasn't around anymore, cause he'd have kicked my ass at that game ;P.
sorry, everyone to whom i didn't say goodbye when i scampered off ridiculously early. and sorry for depriving you all of the much-eyelinered and fishnetted company of damndirtyzombie as well.
today, i am sore and happy.
in other gnus, i am newly fascinated with Okapi, which are, among other things, the only mammals that can clean their own ears with their tongues.
finally, it's going to be 96 degrees here this weekend. good to know that the desert isn't doing a repeat of last year, when it kept saying "look how green and rainy and lush and 75 degrees i am even in July, isn't it *nice*?" despite the fact that it was never like that when i lived here.
any of yis want to go to Sin City tonight? downtown Century 10:20pm (i assume a general invitation is ok with you djsparkydog?) i think everyone's going to see Steamboy at the Guild instead, so perhaps rescheduling Sin City for later in the weekend?
oh, and, i only did this because i was curious, and have had it in a private post (because you only get to see the results once they're posted to the web somewhere), and figure in case you're interested in who loves me:
